Well, that was mature and well reasoned. Still. EEEEEE! JL is THE BEST and I love them all dearly.
Every MINUTE of this had something for me to squee over. GL/Hawkgirl kissage at the beginning, Superman getting bitched out by Lois, Batman being Batgrim. The invasion, and GL being all pouty. The unmasking! "Wally West, Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne." And Bruce was HAWT under the mask. All the undercover-as-civilians stuff was joyous, really-- Clark harassing random hawkpeople AS A REPORTER, and Bruce and Diana making out far more than seemed to be strictly necessary for, you know, justice. Wally was a-freaking-dorable, from the red hair to the ADD-child button-pushing. And yet more Batgrimness, with the "Don't. Touch. That." (I NEED screencaps of that scene.) And Alfred! And, for some reason, the Wall of Sidekick Doom, which I'm a bit confused about, but whatever. It was all BEAUTIFUL. Diana needs to carry swords WAY more often. And Bruce and Clark at the end, when Bruce is all grimly determined to go down with the Watchtower, and Clark swoops in to rescue hisboyfriend. "You always have to be the hero." Oh, the LOVE. And then that ENDING. And next season looks to be pretty shiny, too-- I loved Supergirl in the old animated series, and they're bringing in Green Aroow! Who's even cooler! And, God willing, we'll see Nightwing at some point! Eeeeee!
