Was talking to F on AIM earlier, and we got onto the subject of books-- what we've read since school let. And I tohught about it, and... well, this is no surprise, but I read a LOT.

I've read Julia Alvarez's In the Name of Salome, some Terry Pratchett (The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents, Capre Jugulum), Neil Gaiman's newest (a wonderfully creepy children's tale called Coraline), the first Lemony Snicket, Emma Bulls' War For the Oaks and Finder, and two by Bill Bryson-- a walking tour of England called Notes From a Small Island, and a funny, fascinating history of the English language called The Mother Tongue: English and How it Got That Way.

Those are just the ones I can remember, that I also really liked. I'm pretty sure there's more. Summer is really good for the reading time.
