I really like them-- they have garter stitch edging and a four-stich cable running down the back., and they fit really well. I've been cranking these things out, because they're so easy to make: you just cast on 28 stitches on size 8 or 9 needles, increaing 6 stitches after you've knitted two inches or so, and k4, cast off 4, cast 4 back on on the next row to make the thumbhole. Then seam up the back, and you're done! They're super versatile-- you can add any sort of detail you want, since it's really just a square with a thumb hole seamed up the palm.
