It is so cold in my room right now that I'm warming my fingers on my computer and longing for teeny DPNs so I can knit some damn gloves.

TURN ON THE HEAT, GUYS.

Fortunately, I have lots and lots of yarn to keep me warm. I got two balls of this amazingly soft alpaca blend that I can't wait to turn into a hat (or possibly mittens), two skeins of Noro Kureyon #147, a big 4 oz. skein of this rustic heathery green wool, and some Cascade 220 in black that will be either a felted purse or some fingerless gloves fr a friend. I think probably the gloves, since I want to make the purse in some brighter colors.

Am I boring people with all the knitting talk? Maybe I sohuld post pictures so people can see what the hell I'm talking about and be less bored.

Oh! I have a roomate now. Liz moved in Thursday before last, and will be moving out again at the end of the semester to go abroad. She's very nice. We both keep bizarre hours, and she doesn't mind when I blather on abou Firefly and Farscape and such.

Between his Crossfire apearance and the copy of America: The Book that Shachar lent me, I want to have Jon Stewart's babies.

I've heard most of William Shatner's new album, and... I kind of like it. Not even ironically-- it's just *good.* It's not my fault! Ben Folds produced it! None can resist the Ben Folds mojo!
