So I think I want to polish up the YA novel I wrote at the end of 2010 and stick it up on the Kindle store, just to get it out there. Towards this end, I would love to have a couple of people read it over and point out any major holes or things that need fixing. Anyone interested? It's 50k and a fairly quick read.

(also, are there any DW comms for original fic? I would love to know about them if there are.)

eta: Okay, so, slightly more information about the novel, and what I'm looking for: it's basically about a girl who reads a lot of SF/F, and finds out that her bratty little sister is the lost princess of a magical kingdom. One of her friends is kidnapped away to said kingdom, and she and her sister have to go and rescue her.

Basically I need someone to read it and tell me a) if it sucks, b) if there are any major holes or lapses and c) catch any minor spelling-and-grammar stuff that I missed. Anyone willing to read it should feel free to do only one or two of those things. A more detailed beta would be much appreciated, but I realize 50k is a bit long for that.

I also come via Sam and Radio Free Monday. Sounds like a really neat story, and similar to one that's been rambling around in my head for a few years. I'd love to beta it, and also pick your brain (if you'd be okay with that) about the story some. This username is my gmail too, btw.

I am an experienced beta reader and I would be happy to read your story and give you as thorough and nit-picky a beta as you would like. You can send the link to hazelannhawthorne at yahoo dot com.

I'd be happy to give it as deep an edit as you want - 50K isn't too much for me (I read fast) and I like YA sff.

You can email me at i_am_stasia at yahoo dot com, if that's easiest for you.

I'd be happy to give it a read, though it might not be immediate. I never ever notice plot holes but I'm good with SPaG and I can do the whole Reader Reaction thing :) lokifan.lj AT gmail.com
